For Our Customers
Wildcat creates a supportive environment where every one of our customers is inspired to do his or her best. This means keeping our quality standards high, and concrete goals always in sight. Our programs and services guide youth and adults at all stages of the employment process – from building skills or trying to find a job to advancing at work. Wherever possible, we provide personalized guidance in line with each customer’s unique skills and goals. Every customer can expect a tailored experience drawn from the following:
Wildcat is a certified trainer and provider of the Work Readiness Credential, a universal, transferable, national standard for work readiness for entry-level jobs.
Wildcat has been a longstanding leader in helping people with little solid work experience - from ex-offenders to young single mothers and fathers - transition to a state of stability and promise. Transition employment opportunities are temporary and targeted, giving customers their first job as a grocery packer or fast food teller, etc. that they never had. Customers gain hands-on experience under close supervision. By mastering the basics to succeed at work, they are ready to take on their next permanent job.
Wildcat quickly connects thousands of jobseekers every year with short- and longer-term work. This covers entry-level jobs to middle management positions, full-time or flexible hours, and placements at small businesses or national companies. Customers can also look to us for help preparing for specific industries or employers, as well as supplemental training and support to pave the way to higher wages or more fulfilling career paths.
Our work with customers does not stop at finding a job. We make a long-term commitment to ensure the right fit, grow careers and build wraparound skills that reap value well into the future. Ongoing advancement and retention services lay the foundation for higher wages and include life skills building, networking help and financial literacy training.
Wildcat works with hundreds of young adults each year to complete their education, prepare for their first job, plan their careers and test out their interests through internships. We have school-based programs and out-of-school programs for youth currently engaged in their education, as well as disconnected youth whom are neither in school nor in the workforce.
