Our training institute develops and delivers targeted job readiness and vocational training curricula for all Wildcat programs, as well as for individuals and for businesses throughout the city.

Job Preparation Seminars

Our job preparedness curriculum is extensive and covers basic life skills and job search assistance. We have also integrated financial literacy training into our course offerings through our collaboration with the Citi Foundation.

Advanced Skills Courses

Wildcat offers courses in Bank Teller Training, Customer Service/Retail Training and Building Maintenance, and the diversity of our curriculum continues to grow. These courses are available free of charge to individuals who receive an Individual Training Grant through the Workforce1 Career Center system and to certain food stamp recipients.

Partnering With Business

The Institute can work with businesses in the development of customized training either to improve specific skills in your organization or to help with staff retention. We can also assist you in the application for NYC Business Solutions Training Grants. This subsidized training can take the form of a tailored curriculum for your business, or we can develop a group curriculum for a consortium of similar businesses.
