Wildcat is the beneficiary of a
blend of both public and private funding. We are grateful to the organizations
and individuals who believe in and support our efforts to provide creative
workforce development solutions for New York’s unemployed and underemployed.
Public Funding
City, state and federal agencies frequently engage Wildcat to service
populations that have extremely challenging personal and vocational barriers
to overcome before they can achieve self-sufficiency. Public funders
for recent workforce, youth and economic development programming have
included the following:
Center for Economic Opportunity
NYC Department of Education
NYC Department of Small Business Services
NYC Department of Youth and Community Development
NYC Human Resources Administration
New York State Department of Labor
New York State Division of Probation and Correctional Alternative Services
New York State Industries for the Disabled
Private Funding
Wildcat relies on private funds to develop and incubate our new initiatives.
Private support is essential to our ability to stay ahead of trends and
to maintain the highest quality of service. Recent private funders have
included:
Alcoa Foundation
Citi Foundation
The Heckscher Foundation for Children
IBM
Ira W. DeCamp Foundation
New York Community Trust
