In 2013, Wildcat launched Wildcat’s Neighborhood Improvement Program which provides outdoor commercial and residential cleanup services to NYC Council districts.
In 2018, the Wildcat teams cleared snow from major intersections, bus shelters, fire hydrants and driveways of over 800 homes of older and disabled NYC residents.
Wildcat’s Neighborhood Improvement Program (NIP) provides transitional employment and vocational and work-readiness training to public assistance recipients, justice-involved individuals and residents of homeless shelters. Working in partnership with NYC Council Members and members of the New York State Senate, NIP’s friendly and dedicated work teams – recognizable in their bright green shirts – provide comprehensive cleaning services to ensure cleaner, safer neighborhoods and Business Improvement Districts.

Wildcat responds to 311 calls dispatched from NYC Service, a division of the Office of the Mayor to clear snow from driveways, steps and sidewalks at the homes of elderly and disabled NYC residents, who would otherwise be homebound. Wildcat also introduced an e-waste recycling disposal program that serves senior citizens and people with disabilities. Our crews also pick up used electronic devices including computers and television sets at the homes of constituents that are then refurbished and donated to other nonprofit agencies or disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
NIP services increase property values, improve retail sales and decrease commercial vacancy rates. Outsource your entire cleanup, maintenance and beautification program to Wildcat, or let us staff your own program.
At any given time, there are as many as 23 crews which include 80-120 participants, providing revitalization, beautification, and clean up services, this includes street cleaning, power washing, landscaping, and graffiti removal.
